Cholera can be contracted by drinking contaminated water, eating food prepared by an infected person, or consuming food stored in unclean water.

Who Needs The Cholera Vaccination?

If you fall into the groups below, then we recommend you getting the vaccine:

  1. If you’re travelling somewhere that has a high prevalence of cholera and there is a lack of medical facilities for treatment, such as parts of Africa and Asia.
  2. If you are working in an area as a relief worker and there has been or is likely to be a cholera outbreak.

* The Initial consultation is free. A fixed £20 consultation fee is added to a vaccine visit and a subsequent £10 thereafter (this is not per vaccine but per visit).
